Canadian golfing in Mexico

There’s bad news and good news on the Canadian Tour front. The circuit was supposed to start this week in Stockton, Calif., but the event was cancelled due to the poor economy.

Not to worry. Instead of three events in Mexico, they’ll play four straight weeks in preparation for the return to this country for 10 events beginning with the Times Colonist Open at Uplands beginning June 4. This will be preceded by spring qualifying school at Morningstar in Parksville.
