Ochoa seeks win

Lorena Ochoa will try to join a select club this week as she seeks her fourth straight title in the $2-million LPGA Sybase Classic.

Only Swedish superstar Annika Sorenstam, and 20-time LPGA tour winner Laura Davies of England, have won the same title four consecutive times — Sorenstam nabbing the Mizuno Classic five straight years from 2001-05 and Davies the Standard Register PING four straight seasons from 1994-97.

“I have the opportunity to do something special, winning the fourth tournament in a row, and I’m just really happy that I have that chance,” Ochoa said.

“I know I can do it, and my goal is to just give myself a chance and to be up there on Sunday.”
